TITLE: CG Generalist (Apparel/Footwear)

TERM: Project, Full Time


We are seeking a CG generalist on a project basis to work in-house. The project is footwear focused. Models will be provided but some adjustments are usually required. Your primary responsibility will be creating textures. You will also need to be capable of setting up a fully lit, renderable scene, per client specifications.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly pick things up. Industry experience preferable, all applications should be accompanied with examples of work.

Responsibilities
– Texturing and look dev’ing assets
– Texture baking
– Maya 3D scene assembly
– Project tracking in Google Sheets
– Asset modification (modelling and UVing)  
– Lighting and basic compositing
– Working closely with CG supervisors to achieve desired look and quality
– Working to schedule and deliver work on agreed timelines

Software Proficiency Requirements
– Maya
– Photoshop
– Substance Painter

Qualifications
– Demonstrable experience working within a production environment
– Ability to take direction positively  
– Knowledge of rendering techniques and optimization processes to minimize render times
– Ability to problem solve and predict potential problems with assigned tasks
– Strong communication and organizational skills
– Effective time management skills to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
– Solid work ethic and a positive attitude in the face of challenging situations
